The Texas Stampede returns to action this weekend November 17 through the 18th in Fort Wayne Indiana. The Turnstone invitational will be hosting six teams from the Midwest Vying for early season recognition in national seating.
The Stampede are two time tournament champion’s. “It is always a challenge to go out and know that everyone at the tournament will be looking to knock us off” said Coach James Gumbert. “The season is very young and we’ve had numerous games to perfect our play”. “This will be The next test to see where we are”.
The Stampede will be led by Indiana native and hometown product Jeff Butler. Butler who was born in Fort Wayne and grew up their returns to lead the charge for the Stampede.
Tournament game play begins Saturday, November 17 with the Stampede opening against Grand Rapids Thunder.
